Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the experience of oral examinations for adults over 19 years of age.
Methods: Using raw data from the 8th National Health and Nutrition Survey (2019-2021), we analyzed the subjects who agreed to the indoor air quality survey at home among adults over 19 years of age.
Results: The higher the household income, the higher the final academic background, the higher the experience of oral examination when diagnosed with asthma, when there is no anemia, when receiving medical treatment whenever necessary, and when receiving a medical examination.
Conclusions: It is necessary to create an environment in which employers actively encourage oral examinations by introducing a system that provides financial support from the state or defining oral examinations as mandatory, not optional.
